Conflict-Free Diamond Guarantee
At Jwalin Jewels, we know how important it is to our customers to feel confident about the origin of their diamonds—and we share that commitment. Every diamond we offer is certified conflict-free, in accordance with the Patriot Act, the Kimberley Process, and United Nations resolutions.
But we go beyond these requirements. Our internal standards require binding agreements with our suppliers, ensuring that every diamond they provide complies with all relevant laws and is guaranteed conflict-free. We also work exclusively with polished diamond suppliers who are members of the professional diamond trade.
Kimberley Process & U.S. Compliance
The Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS), launched by the United Nations in 2003, aims to prevent conflict diamonds from entering the global market. All participating countries must certify that rough diamonds are sourced from conflict-free regions.
To extend this to polished diamonds, the World Diamond Council introduced a System of Warranties—ensuring that polished diamonds originate from conflict-free rough stones. In the United States, polished diamonds must also comply with the Patriot Act and sanctions enforced by the U.S. Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Dealers are required to maintain Kimberley Process compliance or face legal action from the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, and the Treasury Department.
At Jwalin Jewels, we take every step to ensure our diamonds meet—and exceed—these ethical sourcing standards.
